With the assistance of a number of talented people, I have university-wide responsibility for developing and implementing financial plans and policies to support IU’s objectives: educating students, serving the state, and promoting the development of new knowledge. As vice president and chief financial officer, I oversee the preparation, approval, and administration of the University's $2.7 billion budget, management of IU’s investments, and supervision of the university offices of human resources, purchasing, and risk management, as weel as Bloomington Campus auxiliary operations and the Bloomington bursar.
