Dr. Chism is located on the IUPUI campus. Her interests are the professoriate, professional and organizational development, and college teaching. Between 1999 and 2006, she served as Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Associate Dean of the Faculties at IUPUI. From 1985 to 1999, she was Director of Faculty and TA Development and faculty member in Educational Policy and Leadership at The Ohio State University. She has been President of the Professional and Organizational Development Network in Higher Education, the major professional association in her field, and received its highest service award.  In 2008, she served as Fulbright Scholar to Thailand.
