ABOUT ME
I am an economist by training, and conduct research on the economics of education and demography in developing countries. My recent research papers are on household schooling and child labor decisions; educational privatization; and the relationship between educational attainment and political attitudes. I teach undergraduate and graduate courses on the economics of education, economic development, globalization, and the social foundations of American education.
