ABOUT ME

I teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Art Education. I also teach qualitative research methods. In addition I oversee the Indiana University Saturday Art School. I have a range of research and writing interests that include the nature of art education within non-formal and informal settings; interdisciplinary approaches to art education, and the application of sociological analyses, especially those related to gender and class, to art education. I am primarily interested in qualitative and ethnographic research methodologies.
