As I completed my undergraduate degree in psychology, I achieved a lot of on campus jobs (orientation leader, mentor, peer advisor, etc) and I loved working with students; watching them learn new things and helping them out when they needed a resource (something I did not have in my undergraduate experience). However, when I realized what HESA was and the types of faculty members around campus that received a Higher Ed degree, I knew this was a place for me. After getting in and completely my first semester, I can still say It has been one of the best decisions I have made in my life and my HESA friends are some of the best!
