I am Director of the School Psychology Program and teach courses in developmental psychopathology, personality assessment, cognitive-behavioral interventions for children, and supervise practicum and internship experiences. I am a licensed psychologist in Indiana and hold the Diplomate in School Psychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology, as well as being a nationally certified school psychologist. My research interests are in emotional and behavioral problems of children, specifically anxiety and depression and how they are related to social, personal, and academic functioning. Also, I am interested in assessment of emotional and behavioral problems in clinical and school contexts and how to link these data to interventions. I have a special interest in special education and mental health law and their interface with school psychology. I am an independent hearing officer/administrative law judge for special education hearings in Indiana, having presided over numerous hearings for more than 20 years.
