ABOUT ME

I teach Social Studies and Curriculum Theory. My current research is on elementary social studies, community studies, and multicultural service learning. I co-coordinate elementary social studies programs. I codirector a federally funded Teaching American History grant: History Educators Project: Teaching American History through the Lens of Indiana. This project is a collaboration between the IU School of Education, Department of History, and Monroe County School Corp. It offers professional development for teachers in American history with the aim of increasing student achievement.
