  • The Books & Beyond Project:  A collaborative project of IU’s Global Village Living-Learning Center, the Newark Collegiate Academy [NJ], and the Kabwende Primary School [Rwanda] - The Books & Beyond Project: A collaborative project of IU’s Global Village Living-Learning Center, the Newark Collegiate Academy [NJ], and the Kabwende Primary School [Rwanda]
    As a collaborator with this project, my roles are to provide technical assistance in creating and using the student-produced books, through written teaching manuals, seminars, and ongoing assistance; provide pedagogical support of Books & Beyond writers, mentors, and consultants on book development, children's stories as a vehicle for literacy, and collaborative communication; and provide professional development for Rwandan educators in the teaching of English language and critical thinking skills.
