An online teaching and learning environment at IU that provides students, faculty, and staff with a powerful environment in which to collaborate and learn. Using Oncourse CL, students and faculty can access course syllabi and grades; communicate via course mail, chat rooms, and discussion forums; and access online quizzes and surveys. Faculty will inform you if they are using Oncourse with your class.
Email
IU will send official communications to students by e-mail with the full expectation that students will receive and read these e-mails in a timely fashion. For IU-Bloomington, this is the @indiana.edu address. Additional communication may come from faculty via Oncourse. Students who choose to have their e-mail forwarded from their official university e-mail address to another address do so at their own risk. Problems with other e-mail accounts will not absolve students of their responsibility to know and comply with the content of IU official communications. Instructions on setting up or cancelling the forwarding of e-mail may be found by visiting http://itaccounts.iu.edu.
