Directions to the School of Education

By Air:

If traveling to Bloomington by air, you will arrive at the Indianapolis International Airport. You may then rent a car or use other transportation to make the trip to Bloomington. The Bloomington Shuttle Service and Star of America offer van transportation from the airport to the Indiana Memorial Union on campus and can be reached at (812) 332-6004. Other alternatives include Classic Touch Limousine at (812) 339-7269, and Carey Indiana Limousine Service at (800) 888-INDY.

By Car:

Arriving from Indianapolis or Terre Haute:

• From the intersection of State Road 37 and the Indiana 46 Bypass travel east on the 46 Bypass about 2 miles to Fee Lane (there is an Indiana State Police Post on the corner) and turn right (south) onto Fee Lane. 
• Continue south on Fee lane until you reach a traffic light at 17th Street (about 1/2 mile).
• Go left on 17th Street until the top of the hill (about 1/4 mile).
• Turn right (south) at the top of the hill onto Jordan Avenue. 
• Continue on Jordan Avenue past Law Lane, 10th Street and 7th Street.
• South of 7th Street on the left is the Jordan Avenue Garage. 
• Park on the top floor of the garage, which is reserved for visitors. The School of Education is the building to the East of the Garage (opposite side from Jordan Ave.).
• Take the elevator to the fourth floor and take a right where you will find Suite 4003, Department of Counseling and Educational Psychology.

Directions from Louisville:

• Exit Interstate 65 at the Highway 46 exit 86. Follow Highway 46 West towards Nashville/Bloomington for approximately 33 miles.
• When you reach Bloomington, Highway 46 also becomes East 3rd Street.
• Stay on East 3rd Street for approximately 2 miles (7th stoplight) until you come to Jordan Avenue.
• Turn right onto Jordan Avenue and drive until you come to the Jordan Avenue Garage (about 1 block).
• Park on the top floor of the garage, which is reserved for visitors. The School of Education is the building to the East of the Garage (opposite side from Jordan Ave.).
• Take the elevator to the fourth floor and take a right where you will find Suite 4003, Department of Counseling and Educational Psychology.

Parking:

Visitor parking lot is at the Jordan Avenue Parking Garage. Please note: you will be ticketed or towed if you park anywhere other than a designated visitor parking area.
