When a grade school student at Brooks School Elementary in Fishers, Indiana became gravely ill in 2007, the school's faculty stepped up to help support the family. More about Leslie Hopper and her student, Aaron Soforenko, is available in the "Alumni Profile" of the Winter 2009 edition of Chalkboard, the magazine of the IU School of Education Alumni Association.
