Doris Mohr (Graduated Fall 2005)

My name is Doris Mohr and I graduated in 1987 from the University of Southern Indiana (USI) in Evansville with a BS in mathematics. In 1992 I graduated from IU with a master's degree in mathematics. I began teaching in the Mathematics Department at USI as an Instructor that fall. In 2000, I returned to IU to pursue a degree in Mathematics Education. I graduated in December 2005 and am currently employed by USI as Assistant Professor of Mathematics. My interests include the effective use of technology in mathematics classrooms and assessment issues.

I live in Ferdinand, a small town approximately 50 miles northeast of Evansville. My husband and I have been married for 30 years. We have two sons, Nick and Luke. My oldest son, Nick, lives near Cincinnati with his wife Lea and their two cats. I enjoy spending time with my husband, my sons, my daughter-in-law, and our pets – at this time, one dog and seven cats.
