Doctoral Programs

Early childhood education at Indiana University is a program area within the Department of Curriculum and Instruction (C & I). Students pursuing in one of the doctoral programs in C&I may select early childhood education as an emphasis area. We offer two doctoral degrees: The Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) and the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.). Requirements for the two programs are very similar. Most students choose the Ph.D.
