Using the Printers on Campus

To use the IUB Student Technology Centers (STC) and Residential Technology Centers (RTC) printing services, you need a UITS Printer Audit account. Registered students should automatically receive this account. To verify that you have a Printer Audit account, check the Network ID Services Web page at https://iuaccts.ucs.indiana.edu/ and log in with your Network ID username and password. Select "Display information on existing and requested accounts." If "UITS Printer Audit" is not listed, go back to the previous page and select "Create accounts on UITS computers," select "UITS Printer Audit" and follow the instructions.

If you still cannot print in the STCs or RTCs or do not see the UITS Printer Audit selection on your list of available accounts, send a Printer Audit account request to valid@indiana.edu, or contact the UITS Support Center at 855-6789.

Graduate Students are currently given a printer allotment of 1000 pages per semester. Upon faculty request, an additional, one-time bonus of 500 pages is available for the preparation of dissertations. To check your current printing allotment, log on to http://stcweb.uits.indiana.edu/print/quota/userquota.cfm
