The Counseling and Educational Psychology Department at Indiana University offers a Masters Degree in Learning and Developmental Sciences with an Inquiry specialization/track. Students specializing in Inquiry study research design, qualitative inquiry, research methodology, statistics, educational and psychological measurement, program evaluation, and the use of computers in data analysis and file management.

- 12 hours of course work outside the Learning and Developmental Sciences program. These may include courses taken to fulfill requirements in curriculum or educational foundations, mentioned above.
- Electives taken must bring the total to 36 hours and must contribute to the integrity of the student's program
