Quest for Kids logo

The Saturday Science QUEST program is a series of hands-on experiences designed to provide interesting and exciting opportunities in science for the elementary and the middle school students in Monroe County, Richland Bean Blossom, and Martinsville Schools. The students meet at the Wendell W. Wright Education building, Indiana University Bloomington campus, on five consecutive Saturday mornings for the particular session.

Each fall semester, a variety of different courses are taught by  former classroom teachers, most of whom are graduate students in the Science Education Ph.D. program. They are assisted by preservice elementary teachers who are learning to teach science.

Each spring semester, the classes will be taught by senior level pre-service teachers as part of their experience in Q-405 Science Teaching Methods.

Registration fees apply, however a limited number of scholarships are offered each semester. Enrollment is offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and courses tend to fill quickly. Please follow the links in the left sidebar to find out more about past and present courses, as well as registration.
