Advanced Art Education (3 cr.) Survey of art education literature. Examination of history and competing philosophies of art education as a foundation for contemporary art education as a component of general education. Emphasis on issues that directly affect the teaching of art within all aspects of educational systems. This course is required of all art education graduate students.
