Child Development (3 cr.) Major theories and findings concerning human development from birth through the elementary years as they relate to the practice of education. Topics include physical development, intelligence, perception, language, socioemotional development, sex role development, moral development, early experience, research methods, and sociodevelopmental issues relating to education.
