Communication Skills and Interpersonal Relations in Counseling (3 cr.) P: G485, G502, or consent of instructor. A study of basic skills of interviewing: attending, encouragement to talk, paraphrasing, summarization of content, responding to feeling and summarization of feeling, when to use skills, situations in which different communications skills may be used.
