CoursEval is a third-party, web-based software application that allows students to anonymously evaluate courses and instructors online, replacing the traditional paper bubble sheet end-of-semester evaluations.

How can I log into CoursEval?
Students and Faculty can use the following link to log into CoursEval to complete an evaluation or view results for the current semester once they are made available:

I'm staff on the Bloomington or IUPUI campus. How can I log in to administer the system?
Staff can administer the system by clicking here and selecting CoursEval Manager. A newer version of CoursEval is available here.
How do I print or save evaluation results?
Evaluations can be printed to directly to a printer or printed to PDF format to save in electronic form. Click for instructions on printing or saving your evaluation results.
Are course evaluation results anonymous?
Yes! Students log in to CoursEval using their IU Network ID and Passphrase to take a survey, but this information is not associated with the data they submit. Each student's identifying information, the surveys they need to complete, and the status of whether each has been completed is disconnected from the evaluation results that are submitted. Evaluations cannot be connected to the person who submitted the responses. Click for additional information.
Who can use CoursEval?
CoursEval is available to any instructor teaching a School of Education course on the Bloomington or Indianapolis campuses. Contact the Office of Instructional Consulting or Education Technology Services for assistance with this access.
When are evaluations sent out and when can faculty view the results?
Click here to view a list of the key dates for the current semester. The dates change each semester and are based on information contained in the IU Official Calendar. This information is available at the IU Office of the Registrar.
