Mark Grossenbacherworked with Fritz Lieber on his theme of "Erasing Boundaries Through Communication." Together, the established a videoconference lession that linked Mark's 8th grade class in Florida with Dr. Lieber's undergraduate class in Bloomington, IN. One of the goals of their joint class was to promote service learning.
Kristi Harris worked with Cathy Brown and Thomas Gregory. In Dr. Brown's math methods classes, Kristi shared methods of math assessment she employs to evaluate low vs. high level tasks in math activities. Kristi Harris participated in the Community of Teachers forum where she helped students act out various classroom management techniques. Most importantly, however, by working with Dr. Gregory and a local alternative school in Bloomington, Kristi created an alternative education program at the Wawasee Academy. The Wawasee Academy serves students in a nontraditional setting

Janet Shaffer worked with Martyn Whittingham served as mentor to pre-service teachers. As a guest lecuturer to this undergraduate teacher education class, Jan helped pre-service teachers understand and implement classroom management strategies. She worked with pre-service teachers to help them develop a discipline style and management style that compliments their classroom goals and teaching syles.
